What advice do you have for students returning to school this year?
Several people chimed in when I posted that question on the Tim Price Blog Facebook Page Thanks to each one.

Here are some of their responses:
- Everything is difficult before it is easy.
- Get enough sleep and eat breakfast.
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
- Put your past failures behind you and focus on the future.
- Be a friend to those who are alone.
- Give at least one compliment to a teacher, other student, or friend.
- Talk with your parents about things you are learning / being taught at school.
- Try to enjoy it and soak up knowledge.
- Pray.
- Be yourself.
- Read the books.
- Smile each day.
- If you have conversations about the Bible at school, bounce the ideas off your parents at home to see if they agree.
- Put God first and pray for your school and teachers.
- Give your teacher sweet tarts.
- You never have to recover from a good start.
And here are three scripture verses for students this fall:
James 1:5 – If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Joshua 1:9 – This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
