With What Is Your Name Synonymous?

well doneJarod of Subway. Tupperwar (Created by Earle Tupper). ObamaCare.  Have you heard the phrase, “he became a household name?”  Have you ever heard anyone be introduced as the person whose name is a synonym for leadership, effectiveness, or some sort of system they created.

Our names carry lots of weight and connect us in many ways.

Here’s the word I would like my name to be synonymous with:  faithfulness.

In all the striving, leading and doing – I’m not too concerned if my name becomes famous to others in the world.  But, to hear the words from Matthew 25:23:  “Well done, good and faithful servant…”

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Eph. 2:10

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Phil. 1:6
