Thank you for your part in Harvest Ministry this summer. I’m looking forward to serving with you. There are a few things we need from every team member who will joining in the ministry this summer:

Prayer Partners – Send at least three people a message to become your prayer partner – have them text SUMMER23 to 618-243-7476.
If you would like to raise support for your trip, to be used as an “educational scholarship” and given to you at the end of the summer, you are welcome to. There is information below concerning this option.

PRAYER PARTNERS:

Each team member is asked to get 5 prayer partners – we just need their first name email address. This is one of the important aspects to the ministry. Even if you’re not going every week of the summer, we want each person to be included. You can also include your own email address and family member email addresses too. This will be one great way to stay in touch with what is happening over the summer.

RAISING SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT

Each team member is invited to help raise some money for Harvest Ministry as we travel and serve this summer. This does two things: 1) it helps provide financial support to travel and serve and 2) it allows others to get behind in ministry in a tangible way. You’re invited to share the giving link with friends, family, and home church.

SOCIAL MEDIA:

The purpose of the Harvest Social Media is to connect with kids, share information about ministry events and conferences, encourage ministry leaders and grow the faith in the next generation. We invite each summer team member to participate in liking, sharing, updating and connecting on whichever of the social media sites you love.

Harvest regularly uses Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and probably in that order as far as usage goes. As far as Twitter goes, I typically use t witter.com/timpriceblog and over the course of our ministry together we will be delegating the work of posting and connecting online.

On the leadership development side of things, your social media accounts are directly tied to your witness. Be careful that your online image matches your faith walk. We’re promoting faith in Christ, taking a stand in a culture that is marginalizing Christianity and we making a kingdom difference with every tool at our disposal.
