Training is a huge part of success. Showing up consistently each day, accomplishing a little bit toward your goal, and staying focused on the vision will set you apart.
Some might want the success, but won’t put in the work. Some may look at others and assume they are lucky or fortunate. The truth is this: successful people were consistent.
As Craig Groeschel says in his book, The Power To Change, successful people are consistent with habits. Mostly small, strategic habits that help them reach a bigger goal.
Becoming an expert takes 10,000 hours of practice. Small, daily, consistent habits can easily produce in us the right things to bring about amazing success in the future. But we must stay consistent. You can’t cram for success like a late-night college study session. There is no way around the consistency needed to gain the power of the compounding effect.
What is one small habit that could move you closer to your goal if you began practicing, training for it each day? Take a step toward doing what you can do today so that tomorrow you will be able to do what you cannot do today.
