Here’s one characteristic of a healthy team – whether it’s your church staff, your family, your volunteer worship band, your co-workers or any other team you are part of….
Laughter.

Laughter is a by-product of joy, connection, and friendship. It’s a result of having time for stories, memories, and personal connections. Laughter is a result of play, fun, and joy-filled lives. Laughter helps balance the workload, the tough issues, and the disappointments.
Give yourself permission to enjoy life. Smile. Laugh. Have fun with those around you. It’s a decision we make to be happy.
Christians should be leading the way with joy and laughter.
Memorize a joke. Tell a funny story that happened to you. Think back to something funny that happened in the past week or so. Find humor in everyday life. Be a great audience for someone else’s story and laugh. Decide to smile and / or laugh more than usual today.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 ESV
A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. Proverbs 15:13 ESV
