I heard an old preacher who, after reading Scripture aloud during a sermon, would always end with:
LET GOD BE GLORIFIED,
LET THE PEOPLE BE EDIFIED, and
LET THE DEVIL BE HORRIFIED!
I found this little phrase written in one of my notebooks from years ago. I like the simplicity of it the phrase. And I like the way the guy said it.
What if we applied this to our lives on an everyday basis. Do the decisions you make glorify God, edify other people and horrify the devil?
