Problems seem to have a way of overtaking our thoughts.
Sometimes, we need to replace a problem with a promise. We need to focus on Jesus instead of the issue.

It’s the same thing that Peter experienced. He was walking on the water, but began to sink when he noticed the waves. Thousands of sermons have been preached on the importance of keeping our eyes on Jesus.
Reading God’s word daily is one practical way to do this. It recalibrates our thoughts and gives us the courage to move forward, even with whatever anxiety or fear may be present.
Scriptures for Refocusing Our Thoughts
“We won’t have enough to support ourselves.” – “My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory.” Philippians 4:19
“I’m so overwhelmed with all that’s happening; I’m not sure how long I can hang on.” – “[God’s] grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
“I know that’s what God wants me to do, but I just can’t. It’s too hard.” – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
“I don’t want to go through this alone.” – “I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20
“‘I’ll never be able to forgive her for what she did.” – “If you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14
