It’s Easter! The day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
In John 11, even before Jesus was crucified and buried, Jesus asks Martha explicitly if she believes that He is the resurrection and the life.
Martha answers, Yes, Lord, I believe. (John 11:27)
Easter is monumental. It’s the crux of the Christian faith. It’s a powerful, global celebration that gives Christians (and the world) hope.
Yet, it’s personal. Jesus asked her, “Do you believe?”
Today, we have a chance to answer this question for ourselves. Do you believe this? Take this scripture and replace Martha’s name with yours.
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, [insert your name here]? John 11:25-26
He is Risen.
