The 2014 Light Kids Conference is coming up in less than a month.  My wife and I, through Harvest Conferences, have been hosting these events since 2002.  The Light is a one day event designed to reach grade school kids (grades 1-5) with the message of Jesus.  The event is hosted in three locations around Illinois in March and Registration is open!

WASHINGTON, IL – Saturday, March 8

MARION, IL – Saturday, March 22

TROY, IL – Saturday, March 29

Each conference begins at 9:00 am and concludes at 2:00 pm.  The small registration fee includes everything including lunch and snack.  You’re invited attend.  Most of the time, a children’s pastor, Sunday School Teacher or pastor will bring a group of children (and their friends) from a church.  Other times, a family will attend.  There is a special, less expensive rate for any adult who attends with a child.

If you need more information about The Light Kids Conference, please email us: harvest@harvestconferences.org.

Just for reading this far, I have included a free download of a song that is on one of our children’s ministry worship cd’s.

Listen to (or download) the free song!

Buy the Kids Compilation CD on iTunes.

Check out the other CD’s on the Harvest Online Store.

Why I love the Light Kids Conference

During The 2014 Light Kids Conference, we will have a 40 minute session for adult ministry leaders who serve in children’s and family ministry.  This option will take place while kids are safe and sound watching the entertainment for the day.

  1. I am very excited. I have never been able to bring a group to The Light kids conference because we do a 4th and 5th grade retret that usually is the same week end. This year it is the week after so I am already starting to tell families this month so they can start preparing and we are talking about how to be a light anyway. Thanks for all you do- we are looking forward to it. If anything should ever be an issue at Washington we would be glad to host one too.
