Maroa, IL

On Saturday, September 17, I met up with Tyler Lynn at the church in Troy around 1:45. We got things together and headed up to Litchfield to pick up Chase Weber.  Chase also brought along Josh Rymsza, another Greenville College student, to play bass that night. We loaded up and drove to Farmersville to meet up with Bonnie Pocklington. From there we headed to the event at the Maroa Grade School. The outreach event included games, food and really amazing prizes. Games were from 5-6 PM and the worship concert and food were from 6-7:30 PM. We enjoyed having some hotdogs, the homemade waffle cookies and other great desserts. The church was filled with hospitable people sharing in the ministry that evening.

It was a great opportunity to witness through music and testimony and we got back to Troy, IL around 10:30 PM. Thanks to Pastor Mark and the congregation in Maroa! It’s great to have you being the salt and light in the community! We enjoyed being with you all.
