Three Steps To Stay Above Average

posted in: HOME PAGE | 0

Most of the time, we don’t even realize what we’re doing is mediocre. We need people to challenge us and sharpen us.

I’ve been reading H3 Leadership by Brad Lomenick and in it he talks about the three steps to excellence:

Be Efficient: turn in work on time.

Be Effective: do great work.

Be Congenial: be a pleasure to work with.

It seems simple. Sometimes, people can do great work, but they are difficult people with which to work. Some people are super fun to work with, but they don’t get things done.

To stay above average, employ these three simple steps… be efficient, effective and congenial.

I write with church leaders in mind and I would be honored to have you join me by subscribing to the blog. You can take a look at the top posts here. The posts are categorized: pastors, worship leadersstudent ministry and kids ministry. In case we’re just meeting, here’s little about my life.
